So, I've been thinking...and weeping...all at the same time. I've come to discover that there are a serious lack of awesome dinosaur toys out there! It's not surrpising....since there hasn't been a Jurassic park movie in years...so the toy line is out of commission [until they make the supposed #4 *shrugs*]

I went around toys r' us, and found they have some decent ones in their Kid's Discovery section for relatively cheap, but.....it's not the same. They're small and ...child friendly XD I do know KB Toys had some old stock re-release Jurassic Park toys...but those were rather shoddy as well [I jsut didn't get the chance to buy any and KB Toys is non existent anymore ;;

I scour ebay a lot....but anyone who uses it knows how limited things are XD

So I've been thinking and plotting! Do any of you or know anyone who has Jurassic Park dinosaur toys that are willing to give them away in a trade? Just to state, I'm not interested in the humans or the cars, I jsut want the dinosaurs, specifically Jurassic park ones.

I'm not picky on what generation they are from, I just want them in a decent condition. They can be scuffed and dinged a bit, but as long as they're are in Ok condition - so no offering to give away busted up guys with missing limbs or ripped plastic! XD [unless it can be easily fixed with something, then i might consider it] I also don't really mind if pieces are missing, like if you can't find the chunk of dino damage flesh or the trap gear, I could care less.

So in exchange for said dinos, I'll do artwork, from detailed character sketches, paintings, to digital, even sculpture or posibly cosplay stuff if that's what you'd like[accessories]. I don't want to seem like a brag, but I think I've gotten good enough at art to trade for some old dinosaur toys proabably lying in peoples' basements! XD]

How the trade would work is after we've contacted and made agreements, I'll do the sketch or whaatver you'd ask for and put a watermakr or make it rather small and send a preview to approve it and to show I've done my half, then you'll mail the dinosaur to me and once I get him - I'll send send confirmation to you and send my artwork.

If anyone is interested, reply in a comment or send me a note. If I get decent enoguh response, I'll post another journal of the dinos I already have and possibly ones I would like. They don't have to be the big expensive giant ones, I'm interested in all the jurassic park dinos, big to small, even the tiny dinos that came with the human pack. Just to note though, the size and amount of dinos will determine the size/complexity of the artwork I give. Don't plan on giving me a tiny little non-moving dino and expect a large, complex digital piece. In general, I figure the most common of things would be detailed lineart, which would be about the same as one of the small average dinosaurs [like the raptor that moved his head when you squeezed his legs] Most linearts are on average about 10 bucks, where if I remember, those dinos used to be priced about 7-10, so it's about the same. The bigger the dinosaur or if you give me a few of them in a lot, like 4 or 5, the commission standards expand so you cna ask for more stuff.
